The Dueling Tree rifle we have designed is the ultimate, in our belief. It is capable of functioning with both handguns (9mm and above) and large caliber rifles. Two shooters stand side by side, each starting with two paddles on their respective sides of the dueling tree. Upon command, they commence firing at the paddles on their own sides. Every successful shot flips a paddle over to the opponent's side of the target. The first shooter to clear their side and flip all paddles to the rival's side emerges victorious.
These exhilarating head-to-head matches are invaluable exercises for law enforcement training. The fast-paced, competitive nature of the event elevates the students' heart rates and teaches them to shoot proficiently under stress.
Rated for centerfire rifles and handguns, the target is designed to safely deflect bullet fragments into the ground. The velocity at the target must not exceed 3,000 fps, and the energy must be under 2,300 ft/lbs.
For handguns, the minimum distance is 10 yards, while for rifles, it is 100 yards.
The target includes four 8-inch diameter paddles made from 3/8-inch thick AR500 steel. All AR500 steel components are shipped unpainted.
The target's forward angle is adjustable between 5 and 20 degrees, allowing for the safe deflection of bullet fragments into the ground.
